This course is designed to be used for either the Cube 460 or iCube series Selective soldering systems. The class in most cases will be set up so customers using the same type of equipment will be in the same class and not mixed.

 

In the course outline you may see topics that do not pertain to your system. If so, they will be skipped during the class.

 

Who Should Attend:

Personnel responsible for the daily setup, operations, programming and maintenance of the machines are the key attendees. New operators and operators who need a little extra training are the main intended audience.

 

Length:

Prerequisites:

Knowledge of basic SMT and Thru-hole concepts and components. Familiarity with Microsoft® Windows.

This course is designed to provide operators with operation, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting skills. It includes classroom lecture and hads on training on the machines.

 

The content is basically identical to the training provided on site when a machine is first installed.

 

Who Should Attend:

Personnel responsible for the daily setup, operations, and programming of the machines. New operators and operators who need a little extra training are the main intended audience.

 

NOTE: This course will be taught at the “Manager” user level. Features not available to a user at this level will NOT be covered in this course. The service and calibrations class is offered for the higher level users.

Knowledge of basic SMT concepts and components. Familiarity with Microsoft® Windows.

 



Service and Calibration Class

This course is designed to provide maintenance technicians with maintenance, calibrations, troubleshooting and repair skills. It includes classroom and hands on maintenance and troubleshooting of machines.

 

Who Should Attend:

Personnel responsible for maintenance and operations of the FX3 and KE3000 Series machines.

 

Length:

Prerequisites:

Successful completion of the FX3 and KE3000 Series Programming and Operations Course. Knowledge of basic SMT concepts and components.

This course is designed to provide the participant with additional practice and knowledge of IS functions and features, along with tips on how to more effectively use the IS to increase production capabilities.

 

Note: This course is only available to customers who have purchased the IS (Intelligent Shopfloor Solutions) software.

 

Who Should Attend:

Personnel responsible for line programming using IS.

 

Length:

4 days

 

Prerequisites:

Familiarity with KE or FX Series machines used in customer’s line, strong computer skills, complete familiarity with the Windows operating system. Understanding of networking concepts is helpful. Attendees MUST be familiar with programming on FX or KE Series machines as this will not be covered in depth in this class. Machine Specific Programming and Operations Course is strongly recommended, but not required if the student is already familiar with machine programming.

This course is designed to provide the participant with additional practice and knowledge of JaNets functions and features, along with tips on how to more effectively use the JaNets to increase production capabilities.

 

Note: This course is only available to customers who have purchased the JaNets (Juki advanced Networks system) software

 

Who Should Attend:

Personnel responsible for line programming using JaNets

Prerequisites:

Familiarity with KE or FX Series machines used in customer’s line, strong computer skills, complete familiarity with the Windows operating system. Understanding of networking concepts is helpful. Attendees MUST be familiar with programming on FX or KE Series machines as this will not be covered in depth in this class. Due to the strong similarities between programming on models, this course will cover all at the same time. Vision data (unique to the KE2055/60/80) will be covered at the end so customers who have only KE2050/70, FX1, FX2,JX-100 and JX-200 machines can leave the class early.

 

This course is designed to provide operators with operation, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting skills. It includes classroom lecture and hands on training on the machines. The content is basically identical to the training provided on site when a machine is first installed.

 

Who Should Attend:

Personnel responsible for the daily setup, operations, and programming of the machines. New operators and operators who need a little extra training are the main intended audience.

Service and Calibration Class

 

Course Outline

 

Due to the strong mechanical similarities between all of the KE2000/JX-100 and FX2 Series machines, this course will cover all models at the same time since the hardware and software is almost identical. Time spent on each machine will be determined by the mix of machines represented by customers in the individual courses. We will attempt to have at least a KE2050, KE2060 and FX1 in each class, but this can not be guaranteed for every class

All courses are held in Morrisville, NC (Headquarters)

The following policies and procedures apply to all group training courses conducted by Juki Automation Systems.

Online registration must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the course start date. Upon receipt of the online registration, the Training Coordinator will email a confirmation.

Purchase orders for paid training must be submitted at the time of registration.

The training sessions are small to maintain effective training. If a course is full, customers will have the option of being placed on a waiting list or registering for the next available course.
