Configurations

Component Feeding by Shuttle
(TR-6):
The module is equipped with a shuttle that brings the components to the head for picking. The big advantage of this system is that no feeder space is lost.

Component Feeding Matrix Tray
(Tray Holder, TR-1 & TR-5) :
The matrix tray server is installed on the rear bank of the assembly machine and presents trays to the machine one at a time so that the placement head can pick components directly from the trays.

Non-Stop-Operation:
This option allows the operator to replace empty trays while the machine continues to run without impacting production.

Standard Features & Options

Empty Tray Indicator
(Option for KE-2070/2080) :
An indicator light shows which tray is empty.

Waffle Pack Holder (Option):
A specifically designed tray holds 2 x 2" waffle packs.

Super Low Speed Mode
(Option for KE-2070/2080) :
New lower tray handling speed prevents very light components from jumping out of the tray.

Tray Base Orientation Check:
A sensor checks tray hole or edge and verifies its position before the magazine goes into operation.

Matrix Tray Holder

The Matrix Tray Holder comes in two sizes and offers support for up to 10 unique part numbers.

We also offer a Carrier Tape Tray solution that is used in conjunction with the Matrix Tray Holder which offers support for strip tape parts.

Dual Tray Server (TR-1SNR)

The TR1 Dual Tray Server offers the capability of shuttling two unique JEDEC trays to the machine for quick and accurate pickup of parts.

Matrix Tray Server (TR-5SNR/TR-5DNR)

The TR5 Matrix Tray Changer presents complete JEDEC trays from the rear of the machine. The TR5 has (2) 20 tray magazines for maximum feeding capacity.

Matrix Tray Changer (TR-6SNR/TR-6DNR)

The TR6 is a side mount matrix tray changer that also offers up to (2) 15 tray magazines for maximum feeding capacity. The TR6 presents parts 2 at a time on an automated shuttle arm. The TR6 also offers a front inspection conveyor with automatic inspection capabilities.
